sytse: 22:20:14 < ndim> I guess I should patch the window manager to send SIGSTOP to firefox when it goes out of focus and SIGCONT when it goes into focus :)
sytse: ndim: wmiirc-lua has that feature built in :)
sytse: (to give you an example)
sytse: although that's simply with an os.execute("kill -STOP " .. tostring(pid)) from within the lua code
sytse: (and kill -CONT when it comes back into focus)
ndim: sytse: CUTE!
sytse: uhuh. :)
sytse: I did recently fix a bug in the C code of wmiirc-lua where it didn't terminate some ASCIIZ strings, so I wouldn't say I really _trust_ the code 100%, but it sure has quite a couple of niceties in there ;-)
sytse: (though after fixing that bug, suspend mode and raw mode actually -worked- for me without having to tap the key combo ten times until it finally got through, with always a chance of crashing wmiirc completely, so that's good.) ;-)
Dagg: I'm having problems setting xorg to work with my radeon 3450hd
Dagg: can someone help me?
yangman: Dagg: what issues specifically?
Dagg: well, it doesn't seem to work, the screen goes like black off then black on then it stays like that
Dagg: I can pastebin the log if you want
yangman: which version of radeonhd?
yangman: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16929 -> http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16892
yangman: try the latest version from git
Dagg: I'm using gentoo, version is 1.2.3
