Nightwulf|work: hi all
pj: Hey, I just wanted to thank you guys for your driver, I was having problems with the fglrx driver not wanting to work with the 2.6.32 kernel and found an article telling me how to switch to the radeonhd driver and it works great, better (I think) than the proprietary fglrx driver.
lvecsey: Hello. I have an RV610 board (Radeon HD 2400 PRO) and the kernel drm and radeon drivers are in place, but Xorg tells me no devices were found whether using the radeonhd or radeon drivers. The board is sitting in PCIE slot 7:00.0, do you think that would make a difference? It's somewhat of a hassle to move the board to test, although I know it's not in one of the two primary graphics slots. It's in the last slot on the motherboard.
adamk: lvecsey, First, I'd continue testing with the radeon driver and I'd move this over to #radeon... Simply because there seems to be more development on that driver and activity on that channel.
adamk: lvecsey, Also, you'll want to pastebin your full /vr/log/Xorg.0.log file from when you used the radeon driver.
udovdh: radeonhd sees my 2600 Ok..
